@Soossie I won't be around long ,but I do check my messages from time to time . So drop me a line from time to time and let me know you are alright ,and I'll do the same . You have no clue how much you're friendship has meant to me and you know I talk a lot (from to many years of seclusion ),but I don't blow smoke ,I say what I mean .You have always been a blessing to me .you mean more to me then a screen name on a web site ,true friends ,time nor distance changes the connection . I have old friends I have not seen in 25 to 30 yrs . I walk in and the first thing out of their mouth is how have you been ? Did you bring a guitar ,and its like I never left ..I know how to chose quality friends ,you are one of them .. Love ya ,please let me know how you are once in a while ,I'll do the same . Stay safe and well and God bless you .🤗🤗❤️
I used to pick flowers for my nan in the woods round her cottage. I remember my mum taking me to feed ducks in the park. I remember some of my first day at nursery school making pictures by putting paper over a large jug of washing up liquid, paint and water we'd blown into with a straw. I remember giggling whenever I heard "Hit Me With Your Rythym Stick" by Ian Dury and the Blockheads, and crying whenever I heard "Bright Eyes" by Art Garfunkel. I remember girls making daisy chains and the long hot summers. I remember the smell of cut grass and creosote. I remember the ice cream van and the pop lorry. I remember half pence coins and big 10p's. I remember bike races round the block and massive 20 a side games of football, playing till our parents called us in or the streetlights came on not wanting to go in because you were well into the game but also because you knew your mum was going to give you a bollocking because of the grass stains on your knees. I remember playing marlies on drain covers, bulldog and tig. I remember collecting Panini stickers in an album - trading your "gots" for your "needs". I remember being amazed by frogs and toads. I remember being crap at climbing trees.
