I Do Not Like People to See Me Cry

'brave are those who can show their emotions fearlessly, can show how vulnerable they feel at times.'
Is this true?
wintersecret · 41-45, M
it's seen two way for every person who cries

1- A person able to share is pain by crying out but some see it as weakness of the person

2- A person who isnt able to cry out the pain, looks to be more secretive or defensive of self
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@wintersecret how defensive?
SW-User
Nothing wrong in crying. Good way to let your emotions
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@SW-User yeah. Good for eyes too.
😁

Crying is a gift given by nature to burst out suppressed emotions...naturally woman cry and throw away all unwanted things from mind.
Tukudo · 41-45, M
Of course for men too...but people are given mindset like men will be coward if he cry. So men are suppressing that emotion..@mrinalini
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@Tukudo but is it healthy?
I feel our socialization is doing more harm than good to us.
Tukudo · 41-45, M
Suppression is never ever healthy. Yes, society always do this harm. Now its become medical business@mrinalini
Horsepower · 31-35, M
Yes it's true! But you need to choose to whom you gonna show that. Some people might take your vulnerability as weakness!
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@Horsepower yeah. I also feel the same.
Uncle · 46-50, M
If I feel like crying, I cry. Much better than keeping it all locked up inside.
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@Uncle I wait till the time I reach my room and no one is around.
Uncle · 46-50, M
@mrinalini That's what I try. But I'm not ashamed if it happens where people can see it.
SW-User
I don't think so, brave once are thoughs who don't show vulnerability
SW-User
I think it is.
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@SW-User can it be true for everyone in every situation and in front of anyone?
SW-User
No...but that's beside the point. Here, 'brave' refers to the courage one has to show to face one's own fears and weaknesses...to accept our own flaws...to be true to ourselves, more than anybody else.
mrinalini · 31-35, F
@SW-User true.
