Casheyane · 31-35, F
How would you? :)
Renkon · M
@Casheyane When I was five, someone gifted me an electronic watch. When I first saw those black-and-white digits showing the time, my thought wasn’t, “What a nice watch.” It was, “How does this work? What’s inside this that makes it happen?”
Before long, I had dismantled it into its tiniest parts, completely fascinated by the intricate pieces inside.
I think my life has always been shaped more by the need to know what’s behind the curtain than by enjoying what’s in front of me.
Another thing about me: the idea of living in fear scares me more than fear itself.
When I was little, my cousins used to scare me with stories about a monstrous jackal roaming outside our compound walls at night to snatch children away. It was meant to stop me from sneaking out onto the road after dark. But every night, I could hear rustling sounds outside the wall. I was frightened, but over time, staying afraid became more exhausting than the fear itself.
One night, after hearing the noise again, I snapped. I climbed the wall and jumped toward the sound while screaming at the top of my lungs. Something suddenly darted away, and I ran after it because, in that moment, the monster felt easier to face than living with the fear of it.
By the time my parents and neighbors came running, I was lying in a muddy stream nearby, still shouting — half in fear and half in anger — while the neighbor’s poor dog was tangled in a wire fence, whining helplessly.
That’s me in a nutshell.

Renkon · M
@0uijaFinger No names ....… there must be something that defines you.....right?
JRVanguard · 26-30, M
*Ahem*
HumanEarth · F
I keep my whereabouts to myself and let the world fill in the rest. I prefer to move through life unseen, no breadcrumbs, no profiles, no footprints that lead back. I tinker with radios and tube amps, build what I need by hand, and paint everything in colors that refuse to hide. Give me a small handmade cabin, a woodstove, and a stack of odd tools; I’ll trade complexity for a life that feels private, loud with color, and utterly mine.
peterlee · M
How can I help you?
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Through the medium of dance 🧑🩰
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
I mean those things are part of your structural identity. I always find questions like this stressful because I'm already in the middle of exploring who I am without the family enmeshment.
I guess I'd mention my age and interests.
I guess I'd mention my age and interests.
Jexie · 26-30, F
I don't do that anyway
Degbeme · 70-79, M

Just wave ig?
SinlessOnslaught · M
@soulrespite I would still label you
itsnotimportant · F
Without words. No words would be needed at the point where I drop all worldly connections.
Renkon · M
@LamontCranston Thank you. I am basically curious.
LamontCranston · M
@Renkon It is an important gift.
itsnotimportant · F
@Renkon Is there anything besides heartbreak that can give such a push? That, paired with some spark within that keeps whispering and nudging and pointing to a direction that leads to such a path is the perfect recipe to go in for such an attempt. I think. Because, why not? What else is there on the same old fore trodden road?

Without your age, we don’t know if you’re coming from a place of ignorance or wisdom.
