I’m not anti-capitalist but I kind of wish businesses had the same approach as Eastern Europe in the USA.
I’m Polish and I have a friend who is from Ukraine, we had an intense discussion previously about the entitlement of American customers and how corporations expect you to put up with it because of money.
It works sooo much different back where we are from. As she said “businesses shake YOU down” because I mentioned how it feels like they try and shake me down here.
Just general disrespect is not tolerated, acting fake friendly isn’t a thing, it’s more like “you’re lucky you get to shop here”.
So glad I’m out of retail 💀
