I haven't been on here for a couple years but now I'm back because Reddit is toxic.

I wasted so much time on Reddit, and in the end it's very toxic with toxic people and I had negative experiences. I don't know why I continued using it. I don't even know why I joined. Don't get me wrong, I met some lovely people on there, but that site/app is full of creeps and weirdos. Reddit made me so much more insecure about my body and life experiences. I just remembered Similar Worlds again and I'm glad to be back ☺️.

Reddit sucks. It's good for hobbies and general information, but woe to the people who actually care about something and post their passions there.

The edgelords on Reddit hate happy, productive people with hobbies and goals. They want everyone to be navel gazing losers just like them.

I actually found a lot of value in some of the subs on Reddit. But it was the more general, sensationalist sites that really attracted the dregs. Not my problem any more as I received a "permanently banned' notice the other day. Didn't say anything that would warrant it but I won't fight it. I'll take it as a sign that I need to cut down on swimming in cesspools.

@Ynotisay Don't get me wrong, some subreddits are great so I agree there is value in some subreddits, but that's as far as it goes. I'm sorry you were banned though, but congrats at the same time!

Idk I like it. I did end up removing most of my subreddits,because I was spending wayy too much time on there. So now I just check only a couple subs from time to time. Added back the meme one tho. Good laugh.

I don't see the hype about reddit. I joined to try it and saw that it's filled with sex pests posts and LGBT+ invading non-lgbt+ spaces I felt very unwelcomed

@Chickie Oh gosh, yes this! Reddit is also male-dominant and the amount of sex that is discussed is absurd, on completely SFW subreddits too
