Having no relationship with my parents (they divorced in 1980 when I was 12) from about 1990 ish onwards. I never had contact again with my dad (who died about 2011) and very little with my mum who died at the end of 2020. I think I cut them off because of the divorce and how that affected me. I have hated the concept of marriage, etc. ever since though.
