I Want to Be a Better Person

Exercising would be something I would like to get better at. Currently, I don't at all. I would like to be able to run again. I'm just super lazy and don't feel like I have a lot of time to. I'm trying to make time and come up with ways I can be more active. I look very fit because of how I'm just built but I'm not. Walking up the stairs makes me so out of breath. I'm gonna start soon though. Maybe start small like walking then jogging, then hopefully running. And more!

Hey girl, I am currently training for some Spartan races. I'd like to pass all of the obstacles without any assistance. Right now I run 50 miles/week, but I started the year running 10/week. For you, I would suggest looking up the Galloway method (run and walking). Essentially, you focus on your breathing to ramp up those miles. As soon as you begin to huff and puff, take a walking break, slow down and focus on gaining back your composure and concentrate on form. Try to build up a strong running base (increase your mileage). Also remember that hitting your peak takes time and dedication. I spoke to an ultra runner. He told me that studies have shown that it takes 5 years of consistent and dedicated training minimum to hit your peak. Im always looking for an accountability buddy.

I bought an elliptical and use it like crazy, it helps when you are lazy to go out
