What is your most vivid memory of school?

@Sujbftihe I know the feeling. I apparently had a 'guilty face' and was often the usual suspect at school 🙄

@SunshineGirl we listened to her plan in class and everyone just sat there waiting to hear the punchline. As it dawned on us that she was serious we all began to wonder what to do. A few of us approached the principal with the story and, after the Christmas break we met our long-term sub as Dizzy Lizzie, we were told, went to visit her sick mother.

@redredred that is sad for the teacher and her family, but a lovely story nonetheless 🙂

@SunshineGirl A bit more background, Dizzy Lizzie was a hateful, miserable wretch that used to yell at students and tear up their notebooks with little provocation. She regularly threatened students with failing grades for little reason.

@hunkalove An era of moral panic and confusion 😕 I once got put in isolation for having a haircut that was too short. Not a great deal you could do about that after the event 🙄

@SunshineGirl ibthought so... I mean therexwere entrances at each end of the toilets ... one onto the playground and the other enfd onto the corridor... no wonder there were wettings
