Why do most men just look at women but never say anything?

I'm sure most people have experienced someone just looking at them but not saying anything to you. Sometimes it's a stranger who you meet briefly and sometimes it's a person you see often.

As someone who was approached by a man in the grocery store and proceeded to endure an awkward ten minute conversation of how attractive I was and how lucky my better half was to have me, I don’t see the harm in men admiring from afar.

Guys have it hard though. Given how harshly some women can shut down a guy, I can understand why some don’t bother saying anything at all because that sting can really stay with a person for a while. And given the times we’re in, it’s often seen safer...for many reasons...to keep a distance instead of overstepping any unseen bounds.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart It is kind of a double edged sword, you're right. On the one hand, men can be so creepy and overbearing about it when they find someone attractive. But on the other hand, it's only natural and human, and the fact that there's so much risk involved with talking to a woman that way probably makes it worse for them to be so awkward about it.
@PerfectionOfTheHeart

10 minutes was all wrong ... Thank you for enduring that! ... men need to learn how to communicate
@PerfectionOfTheHeart

And you are attractive

@BlueMetalChick So very true.

@questionWeaver Way too long of a conversation with so much repeating. The kicker was he ended up in front of me as I was walking out of the doors and kept turning around to catch glimpses of me as he was accompanied by his wife and another couple. I can handle a lot of awkwardness, but that hit a limit for me.

@BlueMetalChick To be honest, I look at women as they look at me too, but I have never had the urge to actually just start up a conversation just because I find her attractive.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart how about having men take your photo in public for no reason and without asking?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SweetFantasy I'm fairly certain you can get in trouble for that. When I used to work at Best Buy, a guy got fired for doing that.
@PerfectionOfTheHeart Way akward ... he makes it hard for the rest of us to hit on you
@SweetFantasy yikes ... photos?

@BlueMetalChick it was on the train both times different people I guess trains make people confident lol
SweetFantasy · 26-30, F
@questionWeaver accidentally had the flash on and quickly got off at the next train stop

@SweetFantasy One time my roommate was on the train with me and she tried to take a picture of a funny looking person sitting across from us, but she left her flash on by accident. When everyone saw the flash, she tried to make distant thunder sound effects with her mouth as if the flash was lightning. She was high as fuck on hashish though lmao

@SweetFantasy ...I’m pretty sure the theme song from Law and Order: SVU starts playing in those instances. That probably happens often for both sexes without us being aware of it. People of Walmart makes a killing off of such a thing.

@BlueMetalChick 😂. That’s awesome
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
@questionWeaver Haha nah, just makes it harder for that dude to do it again. Y’all will keep a comin’ and lawd love ya for it 😄
