Is romance dead in modern society?

RoxClymer · 41-45, M
more importantly the modern ideas of feminism and individuality killed romance

"I'll get the car door myself"
"the whole date was bad because he got me red roses, when I prefer purple roses"

It's certainly on life-support

@Whodunnit Why?

@cyberdude28 Fear I think.

I've always thought a lot of romance is born from spontaneity. That sudden urge to do something emotionally passionate. To throw caution to the wind and bare your soul.

But these days you seem to need written permission in triplicate to merely shake someone's hand, just in case 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm not for a second discounting the notion of consent, but I think fear of doing something wrong is crippling people socially.
not among everyone........ but, it is for those who wish it to be dead.
