I Don't Believe In Organized Religion

My neighbor:
You should really consider following Jesus Christ, otherwise you will not join him in the afterlife.
*20 minutes later* People who harass paramedics should be lethally shot without question.

Me: I can't comment on Jesus, but if he will be surrounded by people with such ideals, I rather spend eternity far away from that group.

Well, your neighbor seems to have handed you a grand opportunity to unnecessarily voice your negative opinions of Christianity.

Just a thought, you may want to think about giving more consideration to Jesus than to his "followers'. We're all sinners - He is not.

@Budwick if this were the only example, you'd have a point. But the thing is: agnostics do (as least) as much good as religious people.

@Budwick that would indeed be great and in fact I already do. I find it great if religion helps others, but it means nothing to me. I judge people by their actions, not their beliefs.
