Do you switch off your lights to sleep?

I don't like to be in pitch dark when I'm closing my eyes.

And that's why I have set a 2 hours timer for the lights to switch off on its own.

I like to sleep in a blue light with 10% brightness 🔆 just like the pic below (reference image)

What about you?

I sleep in complete darkness. Switch off the lights, draw the curtains, and shut the door.

I love darkness....doc said darkness brings best sleep!

Ones i had nightmare that i stayed up with lights on...i was alone in different city!

I suffer from sensory issues. The moment I hear a odd noise or a random flash of light I’m awake. I need dark and white mouse to even fall asleep.

@Fairydust i keep my room all dark the whole day and when I'm.in deep sleep i don't want any light. I get in a good relaxed mood when i keep the blue light on for 2 hours lol . Helps me fall asleep.

I have a small night light on in the side of my bedroom. But when I go to sleep, my bedroom is mostly dark. By the way, I like your bedroom. The light makes it look like a night club.

With all the devices, streetlights and such in and around my house, complete darkness is impossible. And I've found I don't really need it. I can sleep in pretty much any lighting situation at any time of day or night.

I switch off the lights but it's never pitch black in my room. I sometimes even pull up the blinds when there's a thick fog or heavy snowfall outside and creates nice orange ambient light.

{@angel777] no the dark does not both me as such . can i throw an idea in your direction . why do you not sleepp with your blinds open at least there may be a street light
