I Want a Lover Who Is Also My Best Friend

Like we would build this super amazing friendship first then fall in love in the process. Fall in love with the cute little things we do when we arent paying attention to the surroundings. Feel how perfectly matched we are with one another in our minds and then just make it official by taking the risk and fall in love with each other, only to find out it was mutual feelings, so we are head over heels HELPLESSLY in love now.

Yet the most magnificent thing about it would be that NO ONE ELSE IS INVOLVED. No cheeky exes, no extra laying friend somewhere trying to sabotage our relationship. She would be my only friend and i would be hers too, she would be all that ive got and i would be the same for her. When (IF) we had a fight, we would figure it out on our own, sit down and talk it out and finish it off by making love on the couch :)

I have this. I really feel like this is what me and my boyfriend have. But it's tricky, because he fell in love with me first, and i eventually warmed up to it. It's been a couple of years and We've broken up a couple of times because we do long distance, and there were times when the relationship was getting difficult. But weve surely grown together and been through so much together. Sometimes i panic because i can't tell if i've gone into the comfortable, steady stage or whether i see him more as a friend than a lover, because i don't feel sparkly things for him like i did for other boys when I had crushes before him. Or was that just infatuation. He's also my first and only relationship so i have nothing to compare it with. Emotionally we are so aligned he is the perfect guy and our communication is excellent and he cares for me so so deeply. But when you're friends before dating, does it always stop feeling platonic? I am so confused in life

Well i guess when youre in the friendship stage you would have those little feelings and notes inside about him like when he first touched your hand, or when you stared into his eyes for the first time and had those butterflies inside and so on. Thats what i think it should be tbh

I met my best friend in the 6th grade and we where 'conjoined' together, we spent everyday of the summer together and did best friend stuff. Then in 11th grade we played around in bed and made love a few times through out the weeks. He was just in it for sex but I wanted something more than that, so I ended it.
