How long it took you to finally mature yourself?

I am happy with the level of maturity I have now at my age.
NickiHijab · F
I've always been mature.
As in emotionally mature.

Even as a teenager, I'd been the level headed and logical one in a room full of unstable adults.

Now I don't care and will treat people as required.

@NickiHijab
I think its important to treat people the way they deserve to be treated ❤️
NickiHijab · F
@Imabecoi yeah, that's something I didn't learn right away.

I'm still working on it. But the older i get, the less worthwhile "maturing" seem to be.

With any luck, I'll never actually get there.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
About 58-years, but still in progress.
I'll keep you posted on my progress.
I think I've always thought maturely, even when I didn't care & was throwing my life away. People have always told me that I speak with the wisdom of someone who's lived way longer than me.

But in reality I'm still a nobody & dont know wtf I'm doing so I wouldn't call myself mature

About 55 years

I guess, a bit earlier than I would have liked
too. Can't go back in time now 😭
Imabecoi · M
@Reflection2
Maybe that saved you a lot of mistakes you would have made if you weren't mature enough.
Reflection2 · 36-40, M
@Imabecoi I should have made mistakes and it would have not cost me anything, just like rest of my friends. At least, I would have experience some silly stuff.

I had a lot of responsibility as a teenager, and I think I was able to make good mature decisions when I was a senior in college at 20.
Miram · 31-35, F
I decided not to do that.
Miram · 31-35, F
@Imabecoi I disagree. It requires compassion.
Imabecoi · M
@Miram
Some lack compassion and make it up for it with maturity.
Miram · 31-35, F
@Imabecoi but I don't wanna.

Nothing final, lol
Imabecoi · M
@SW-User
A level of maturity where you could say you're finally not immature anymore.

What do they say? the more I learn, the less I know. That being said, when comparing myself now to a few years ago I am clearly doing better in many aspects. Still there're always room for improvement. @Imabecoi
