Empty shelves at a lot of stores in my area. I have never seen it this way. I mean people were afraid during 9/11. But not this afraid. Heck no. People are acting strange now too. Comments. 😐

They are both horrible in there own way. Anytime there is a loss of life, families are destroyed.

@Sunnykel76 You're right Kel. 😔

SnoopDawg · 26-30, M
9/11 only affected New York, this virus is effecting the world.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Zonuss Ok, explain it to me then.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@jeancolby He's doing the right thing though. He says staying home like this can be boring and oppressive. He's connecting with the city as well as the nation in a candid way.
Jj2k00 · F
Cuomo wants medical equipment not attention. He’s done an infinitely better job than President Cheeto @jeancolby
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
This might be bad but it’s a whole different thing
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@cherokeepatti I agree.
BlueVeins · 22-25
Worldwide, yes. COVID-19 has killed over 5 times as many people. I'd argue that it's not worse yet nationally, though, because the pandemic predominantly kills people who were already fairly close to death, while 9/11 killed basically a random subset of successful workers. I don't know though; it's hard to say.
Lackwittyname · 51-55, M
Not sure the two are comparable. 9/11 was a shocking occurrence, but a one time thing that affected many people. This is a global thing affecting the world and everyone is freaked out and not sure how long it will last. This said the hoarding is really insane.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Seriously in my lifetime I’ve never seen an order limiting groups to 10 or less and that includes funerals. Weddings, festivals, music concerts, graduations, Olympics, etc have been postponed. Hospitals banning all visitors and husbands in delivery rooms, restaurants closing to dine-in customers, schools, universities, libraries and many types of business closed too.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@cherokeepatti Yes. I believe people will be even more aware spiritually, and more resourceful. 🙂
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Zonuss what else?
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@cherokeepatti The resolve of humanity is being tested.
NenaRussa · 22-25, F
It’s not comparable to a deliberate act of terror
NenaRussa · 22-25, F
@Zonuss Explain
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@NenaRussa If people would just open their eyes. Listen to your gut and what it's telling you. This is biochemical warfare. It's 2020 and definitely a
landmark year for the elites. You be the judge. 😐
NenaRussa · 22-25, F
It’s naive to think that’s anything more than a conspiracy @Zonuss
The mortality rate in your country might surpass it.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@SirenCalledLuce I hope not. This is awful. 🙄

Not like that here....selections are down (brand names) and paper products are still in short supply but bare?

We were never asked to hunker down and not work or shop or interact with others for over a month with no end in sight after 9-11. This is new, and we are in unknown territory.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@bowman81 Yes. Unknown territory. Especially since this current generation has not experienced 9/11.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Woah Zonuss that's uh...
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
9/11 was a surprise gut punch. True, there were many repercussions, but it was all about the aftermath. It was pretty much done as a singular event, even if the ripples are still being felt today.

This SARS-CoV-2 shit is a major worldwide pain in the ass and will be affecting us for an indeterminate period.

Very different, imo.
MissLlyn · 26-30, F
media over hypes crap as usual.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@MissLlyn Try telling that to all of the families who have lost loved ones in this chaos. 😡
MissLlyn · 26-30, F
@Zonuss I mean people freaking out over quarantine
