People say my girlfriend has bad breath but I don't smell anything, how is that possible?

My daughter in law has a sense of smell that seems almost nonexistent when it comes to strong odors. Skunks, onions, bathroom odors....she just doesn't smell them. Other things she smells like most of us. It could be that you are just not sensitive to the odor that your friends smell.
