First date, do you go with an intention to "hook up" and have been really disappointed?

I had a friend who was a player at getting girls in bed right after first date when we all thought he is going to get himself into trouble one day and he did.

I see what you're saying, but I also had a friend who was a pick up artist at getting to home base on the first date who never got himself into trouble.
