I've seen it personally.

Yet just look at the Zo é tribe of Brazil, for a large group, that has been around for hundreds of years. And that is a matriarchal society.

The women pick multiple men.

People have been brainwashed into thinking polygamy can't work. It's how they grew up. And the existence of Zo é tribe, for hundreds of years, gives proof to the brainwashing.

Yes poly relationships can work.
Yes marriages can work,
Yes asexual relationships can work.

Yes a vegan diet can work,
Yes a carnivore diet can work.

What works for you works for you.
But any relationship generally has at least one other person and they need to put in the work as well.

(I say this as a relationship therapist of sorts for years)

Polygamy can work, but there are cases where it doesn't.

My ex wife is into that and he is a married man whose ife has health problems. No I don't agree with that at all. She needs to commit to one person and one person only

It takes a specific kind of people to be ok with that. I think jealousy would eventually be inevitable in my opinion.
