I'm going to try talking my boyfriend into taking PTO with me this week

Starting tomorrow, I'll only be working half-days for the remainder for the week, just because to hell with working full days from that point on, lol. But I'd love Desmond to join me those days, so I'm going to see if I can convince him to work half-days as well for the rest of the week. I don't know if he'll do it, though. Sure, he loves being with me, but he also has too good of a work ethic to where he doesn't feel right taking days off just because. That and he's said he'd like to save his PTO for days when he really needs it. That's totally fair and all, but I'd really love to spend time with him... Three half-days for a combined time of 12 hours of PTO and he'll still be able to get some work those days. I really hope that'll be enough of a compromise for him so we can enjoy those days together. 🥺
