My dad played matchmaker between my boyfriend and I and now we're back together.

Turns out he was talking to my boyfriend daily giving him support and encouraging him not to give up on our relationship. At the same time he was letting me vent and supporting me and then he slowly started showing me a different perspective and I started to understand that he wasn’t neglecting me as much as he was drowning and keeping the struggle from me. Context is everything. He was going through something that I as a woman didn't understand. After that I unblocked him we talked and we reconclied. I'm so grateful to my father for fighting for our relationship, I thank God for giving me such an amazing father. He loves my boyfriend,he considers him his son. To him us getting married isn't an if but a when. With his support now we know we're not alone and we can reach out and lean on his wisdom.
