They are the hardest relationships to be sustainable and successful..... Especially when there might be someone next door or close by that is there for you...😉

Because we don't get the closure we need. I feel for you 🤗. SEVERAL emails and messages that I sent - no response. That was the price I paid for accepting an online friend after he disappeared for 2 years. Last year he said he "loved me". And I was trauma bonded to him. The pain was so intense in Oct and November of 2021. Phew - I can't tell you. He love-bombed me and once he had me hooked: that's when his words and actions stopped lining up.
It's better to meet someone in real life. Words come cheap. Look for the persons actions. If this guy had loved me as he claimed to he would have met me by now. It's pathetic that in one of my last WhatsApp messages to him I was literally begging him to call me. How desperate is that? You don't beg someone who claims to love you to call you.

I know the feeling. Then again I don’t have perspective on real relationships. That’s part of why online ones meant so much to me.

People get too caught up in their internet life and they don't care who it affects, especially those with a sensitive heart and soul. Therefore, we accept others at face value, without knowing their true intent. It really sucks and we feel like fools. Then where are we? Definitely not happy. But we must persevere anyway just for the sake of what good people we are, it is all a learning experience. Sorry that happened to you.
