You’d be surprised at how many people fall for the Crazy One, thinking they can help them with their life. I was neighbor to a man who was divorced and he did that with a woman he met, after all the financial and other damage she did and he divorced her and said “I thought I could help her”. Last time I heard she had also destroyed two other men, one was murdered and another killed himself after she got him into debt. She was visibly mental, you could tell it from the first time you met her but she had a way of making men feel sorry thinking they could help.
