I'm not too good at it myself, sometimes.... Quite a few years ago, when I was single, there was someone at work I used to chat to about cars, music, etc and I asked him if he liked wine coz people used to give me wine as presents and I didn't drink it and the bottles were just piling up and it wa a waste. So he said he did like wine so I brought mine into work for him. He said "I'll have to take you out for a meal, in return for the wine" and I said, "Don't be silly - if you buy a meal, it won't be free wine!" It was only much later I wondered if he was actually trying to ask me out lol 😆😆😆😆
