I Like to Read

I [i]love[/i] reading novels!! I especially like novels with the genre of mystery/thriller and fantasy/romance. I go to book fairs whenever I can and I almost always save money to buy books that I like. It's too bad not one of my blockmates and friends are into books as much as I am.

I like historical fiction Bernard Cornwell is a favourite there and Ken Follet. Or thrillers Tim Weaver, James May etc.

My family and friends have a little book club we're always passing books about and then end up donating them to a local charity book shop where we buy the next one for £1.50 and start handing round.

@SW-User Wow! I wish people here in my country are interested in having book clubs 😅 I've always wanted to try being part of one.

@Gelartsyyy It started a little while ago my wife and her friend, now it is those two, my daughter, her boyfriend's mum and her brother, another friend and her son. We're getting to know who likes what so not every book gets passed to everyone. My wife doesn't like too gory in the thrillers for example and I avoid some of the more obvious Chick Lit. It's nice to have people to have a conversation about a book with though. We co-ordinate it through Whatsapp. If I get a book I'll snap the cover of it saying who I think would like it after me but then others might say they'd try it too

I use to live with my nose in a book..
