The Last Picture Show, by Larry McMurtry (1966). Some teenagers growing up in a small Texas town in the early-1950s.
I don't know how many times I've read this but I can't see well enough to read real books anymore and the library finally has the ebook. I used to read it at least once a year but it's been about 5 years since the last time. Also a great movie!
