Elena Ferrante and friends

Oh yes!!!! (apologies to hard copy fans, i cheaped out and went the kindle way and thus was able to get more)

The Neapolitan Novels
1. My Brilliant Friend
2. The Story of a New Name
3. Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay
4. The Story of the Lost Child

5. The Days of Abandonment - only 2 dollars!!!

6. The Lying Life of Adults

7. The Lost Daughter

8. In the Margins: On the Pleasures of Reading and Writing - so i'm not getting everything i see available for this author, her debut, and a collection of articles shall be for the future. I'm sooo excited about Elena, i saw one video comparing her to Karl Ove Knausgaard, who i splurged on a month or so ago, and how he's like embracing the fame, she's opting for anonymity.

9. THE TALE OF GENJI - the first novel, holy shamoozles am i pumped!!!

10. THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH - 2 translations one by N.K. Sanders, and one by Stephen Mitchell, there's another but all of this is only about 20 dollars less than if all 4 Vollmanns successfully get cancelled.

Literary bliss in the palm of my hand, it's so easy i really do see myself reading more on the kindle than in physical format, there's 2 tall piles of real books to my left which are apart of the to get to regiment, so it's not like i'm anti real books, it's a space issue, and also as already mentioned the ease, the ease and was more economical.

So, a great taste of modern great art, and OLD landmarks. A good choice i'd say, i can pick up more Vollmann after i get though a few i have of him, there's something like 21 i think of him that i'll still have, and SEE what i was able to fit in. I'll shush now .....:)
