Latest additions to my kindle
Thanks to Ben, the utterly suave and debonair booktuber who teaches hardcore literature uploaded a video recently about this, and it started the idearrr of cancelling 2 out of 3 subscriptions, 10 each. Really long, and from the 1700's, why the hell not?? Although my tastes aren't as highbrow as this at the moment.
THIS is more of what i yearn for, last night i wrestled over and over whether to get Richard Matheson's Hell House, but i'll wait till the price drops for that, i've never seen the movie for this one, but know it was directed by Dan (Dark Shadows) Curtis starring Oliver Reed.
This sounds promising, a well written extreme horror, a feeling of dread thing, hope it delivers
Another so called extreme horror by a beautiful Polish lady, if i like this, there's a lot more from her
I've had the 1st in this trilogy a long time, and i couldn't resist completing it when the combined price of the 2 was under $6!!!
And this i just a moment ago saw was on sale, i have his Dark Matter and soon to be released is his famous Wayward Pines trilogy, goody gumdrops, and on goodreads he wrote a glowing review of the above authoress' debut novel. It's all connected in this wacky world.
Currently reading Faithless, the 5th in Karin Slaughter's Grant County series, and Stephen King's Pet Sematary in physical format.
Recent finishes:
The Passengers by John Marrs, pretty good 4 stars
Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes - this was fantastic, how involved i was in the story 5 stars
& Lock Every Door by Riley Sager - enjoyed it 4 stars
That brings y'all up to date 🤪
