Additional volumes
I've at present saved for later all the LOA volumes in the basket and am slowly and thoughtfully adding books that i think would be suitable for my insatiable thirst for the dark. As my motto shall be darkness in, sunshine out
these 2 confirmed through watching that video of the guy who convinced me that 1984 should be celebrated for it's hopelessness et al .... his video was of 5 books and these 2 plus those which i've shared about before plus the Orwell will mean i'll have all 5 yippeeee!!!
Another Cormac McCarthy called Child of God
Hubert Selby Jr's The Room
and 2 of Stephen King's most scary oldies The Shining and Pet Sematary. I dimly recall being jolted by both back in the 90's, some of my earliest reading experiences.
I shall not be using SW much for awhile, i'll keep checking, and maybe do little spurts of activity, and when the books, the dark ones come in, i wanna immerse myself, but if i get too effected i may have need of coming here to regain my faith in humanity.
