Walked 25 k steps today. All while dressed in a white blouse with a 40B bra under it, necklace, short skirt, bracelets, lipstick. I was also barefoot.
The only comments I got were one person who seemed to think it was very bad form to go barefoot and another who very politely asked if it hurt. When I said that after fifty years of doing it I had learnt my limitations and how to avoid injury he replied that that seemed quite reasonable.
No one cared about how I was dressed, at least not enough to mention it to me. I did notice several glances but they were invariably directed downward so I suspect that it was feet again that they found most notable.
Oh, and I finally had my ears pierced!
