I honestly would have moved to another state for a woman that meant half as much as she does to me, but right now all I can do is prepare and save up money to get a place together when she’s out and pray and wait

@turbineman40 If you mean the trouble I had before leaving Norway for my holiday, yes it was fixed very easily, still cost me a couple thousand kroner. Turned out not to be the dreaded controller failure but a mechanical fault in the door mechanism. So the mobile mechanic just replaced that part and all was well so I travelled the next day. @turbineman40 Me too because they said they didn't know when a new controller would be available due to the global chip shortage. The only other option was to take the controller from one of the rear doors leaving the rear door unusable but at least the front doors working. Luckily it was 'just' a mechanical problem, unluckily the car is out of warranty so had to pay for it. Still it was at least done very quickly, I reported it in the morning and it was fixed before 17:00 the same day by a mobile mechanic.

@Disguised I'm sorry to hear that. I do get what you mean tho, i have very few real friends due to unfortunate childhood circumstances

@Stark True! The only social interactions i get irl are at work and i can't relate to anyone there. They're either much older than me or much younger, either way i don't understand their humor so i find it hard to interact and build rapport.

@DeletedReality I feel the exact same way about the people I work with. Either much older or younger than me, and they’re hard to relate to for me.

@Stark yeah so then you get stuck in the middle where you don't really know where to go during office lunch cause you don't have a group you hang out with. Or if you do, you mostly just eat quietly and try to understand the topics of conversation. Based on my experiences lol

@SilkandLace2 oh yeah that's true. My friends outside of SW and i don't even see each other face to face often anymore. We mostly talk online now so yeah not that different i guess
