I know how you feel. My best friend pretty much ditched me one day and I didn't know why. It honestly hurt way more than any breakup ever has. She got new friends who were pretty and thin, and they'd take selfies with each other and post them on social media. I wrote her this super long message saying that I was sorry if I did anything wrong, it was like ten paragraphs long, and I told her I'd always be there if she needed me.

A year or so later, she finally talked to me again and apologised for ditching me, saying she left because a bunch of people were talking shit about me and she didn't want to be a part of that. It was never the same afterwards. We wouldn't sit together and eat lunch or talk unless she needed me to do something for her. Needed me to lend her money for plan b, do her hair and makeup for a party, or to talk shit about her main friend group.

It really fucking hurts. Sorry that it's happening to you. People are assholes.
