What are your thoughts about countries that ban (or who are trying to ban) the TikTok app?

I'd love Tik-tok to be banned/scrapped/abolished/shutdown permanently. It's so toxic and vile, not to mention a 'front' for the Chinese government to gather data and spy on people.

Imagine being so cringe that world leaders need to step in and ban your website to save their citizens from witnessing complete and utter cringe

TikTok is, through a long chain of connections, pretty much owned by the Chinese Communist Party, which has access to all the personal data users share with the app. Some people find this objectionable.

Because it's Chinese Cancer toy where you can entertain millions of CCP Monitors cracking up laughing against it's own citizens and the U.S. and possibly all over the world.

China has tik-tok and Russia has Telegram. While we are entertained they will gather data on us.
I use both. .

I've never used it so I wouldn't know. I don't do what everyone is doing. I'm more into Instagram
