I dunno. But i think that sounded like a punishment. I won't like to sip whisky on any morning, even weekends. Why should he decide whether or not you finish your drink ? And you could have said you will have it and more of it but in the evening! My wife almost never finishes her drink. Goes down the drain. Thats it.
