Something I saw in my office today

I just got my own little desk. No more than 36 inches of my own workspace, but I'm grateful to have it. Above the desk there's one of those old Motivational posters from the early 2000s. It reads:

"Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Choose your words for they become actions.
Understand your actions, for they become habits.
Study your habits, for they will become your character.
Develop your character, for it becomes your destiny."
