I can imagine being in such a place and then hearing about that happening and knowing you can't be there for your family would be a breaking point for most people. I think as long as you have the motivation and self-drive to do things differently, you will.

I guess the way I see it is I try and see the good in other people, and see what made them who they are, and I only stay around people who want the best for me and I for them. I think if there are people who don't want you to be happy because of their own issues, maybe you can narrow that circle to better people. Or maybe you feel like they do but you've just been through bad treatment before, I wouldn't know.

But hey they can't put you in jail if you didn't do anything.
