The number has roots in paganism/wicca. Makes sense to drum up fear about the older religions if you want to promote a new one, i.e Christianity.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@KuroNeko still isn't right though
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@KuroNeko so many thing still now that people are forced to do and follow
KuroNeko · 41-45, F
@MiraRoss Absolutely. A belief should be a personal thing.

Whatever you do on the 13th, just don't go to a place called Camp Crystal Lake. There's a crazed masked killer who lives there that enjoys killing off camp Counselors.

Just superstition. I don’t believe in any of those

It's just superstition, like walking under a ladder(that's just dumb no telling what may get dropped on you) and a black cat crossing your path, just stopped up and, MEEE YOOWWWWWWWW
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@kentex35 yes the black cat I had a black cat he was the best cat I had. It's not true about them this is why there stuck in rescue

Relax.
My daughter was born on the 13th, and she loves it.
It's her favorite number, the. Letters in her name come up to 13. And she loves it when her birthday falls on a friday.😊

Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition. It occurs when the 13th day of the month in the Gregorian calendar falls on a Friday, which happens at least once every year but can occur up to three times in the same year. For example, 2015 had a Friday the 13th in February, March, and November; 2017 through 2020 had two Friday the 13ths each; and the years 2021 and 2022 will both have just one occurrence each.[1]
thank you google @Lilnonames
