Yah... one of the main forms of abuse that I lived with from before I can remember.

At the age of 8-9, my mother and teachers were threatening to send me to the local special needs school, which I was brain washed to fear, if my handwriting didn't pick up... they even showed me some work I had written in infants school to show the decrease in my writing.

Omicron does indeed seem to cause few hospitalizations, so this may be the right variant to let spread in a controlled manner. Before deciding to do so, we should make sure it causes few cases of long covid as wel though, and control of the spread remains essential. I don't really trust the government to wait for further research and keep the spread under control though.

Darren Brown made a good documentary about that, called "The System". Essentially he predicted the outcome of 6 horse races in a row by predicting every possible winner and only broadcasting the correct one. He also made a video of 10 coin flips in a row being heads in one try, which took him I believe 6 hours of restarting the recording.
