Had fun hanging out with friends today :)
I know nobody's particularly interested in these silly posts about my day; they're really just records of good days I've had, as much so I don't forget as anything.
Today was another Thursday of gaming at Lucas's place. Anthony, Jasper, and Ben had to back out because of work, but it was fun enough with just Lucas (obviously), Will, and me there. Lucas and I played a game of Middle Earth which I won with horrific brutality, my Elves taking one single casualty while almost his entire army either died or fled - I say almost because out of 17, 2 models survived to surrender (the game ends when one side reaches 25% of their starting strength, and whichever side gets to that threshold first loses).
After that, I played Age of Sigmar and then my own game, with the three of us doing a 1v1v1 for my thing. Lucas won, but only barely, his Broodlord being literally the only survivor with a single wound left at the end of the game. I lost an entire tactical squad to shooting against Will's Adeptus Mechanicus, specifically his two Kastelan Robots and their 18 shots that ignore my marines' armour save. It was super fun though.
And I'd forgotten how good the Pad Thai is at the local Thai restaurant out there.
