If you mean the USA, then you might want to consider that a LOT of people in the world are trying very hard to move to the USA. As tough as things are here in the USA, they're often worse in other countries.
If you do decide to leave the USA, do it before you are old. I am old and I admit the USA can be a bad country to get old in. Old people are considered useless here.

It is simple, renounce it in a notarized statement, send it to the state department and a copy to the county clerk of your current home address and leave the country for whoever will take you.
Make sure you have proper documentation for your new country because your passport will no longer be any good.
