Which side of California would you be in if you're not there already?

I've lived in Vancouver then Victoria (in Canada, of course) so maybe this is why I'd choose Northern California.

I lived in Southern California most of my life when I was in California San Diego and Los Angeles. Northern California parts of it are very pretty but there was just nothing for me there

Probably Southern. Couldn't afford either one.
