Is a subscription to Sirius XM worth it?

I have a yearly “negotiation” with them by telephone. It usually takes about 45 minutes and then repeatedly telling me that the two Howard stern Channels will not be included but eventually they relent and give me the premium package for about $7 per month which is all the service is worth to me.

I’d say generally if you live in a major city with plenty of good quality radio then Sirius is of less relative value than if you live more rurally with little or no choice of channels. The service certainly has significantly different relative value based on both circumstances.

We got my father a lifetime pass when xm was first launched so that worked out, but they stopped doing that years ago.

I got 6 months of it free when I bought my new truck. I didn't renew. Most of the time I drive with the radio turned off.

I dislike their channels. Not worth the money.

How much is it?

Its pretty cheap and my mom listens to comedy and old radio show channels constantly. Also they have some good music channels. It all depends on how much time you spend in your car and whats available for you there. We cannot tell you.
