Putin issues warning after nuclear-capable missile test

This is for domestic consumption. He's trying to cover up for his failure to achieve any of the goals he outlined in his invasion eve speech. He's also addressing a public that's been largely cut off from the rest of the world, with no primary access to anything but the Putin narrative. A standard Russian/Soviet tactic.

Only the Russian people can remove Putin from office, and that's not a sure bet at this point.

Putin is bluffing. NATO has nukes and huge conventional forces. Any major attack on NATO countries would mean destruction for Russia. He is playing a highly dangerous game of chicken.
