So is there even an Epstein client list?

I'm sure everyone has seen posts on the internet asking how Ghislaine Maxwell could have been convicted of child sex trafficking if she didn't traffick children to anyone. This just shows that the person isn't up to speed on her criminal trial. Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking one minor, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in sex crimes, and three counts of conspiracy. The "client" she trafficked the minor to was...wait for it...Jeffrey Epstein.

There's no evidence that anyone else was involved or that a list of clients exists. The belief that there is comes from several sources.

1. An analysis by Slate (a left-wing source) concluded that Epstein's wealth and income was too high to be accounted for solely from his known jobs and activities. The article concluded that he must have been arranging for wealthy clients to have sex with minors, filming them, then blackmailing them. However, there's no evidence for any of this, just speculation.

2. Epstein's personal phone book was originally released in heavily redacted form. This led to speculation that important people were being protected. When the unredacted version was released later, it did indeed have many prominent people in it. However, this isn't proof of anything other than they knew Epstein.

3. Epstein owned a private island, Little Saint James in the Caribbean. He often flew his friends there in his private plane. However, this isn't proof that anyone on the flight logs engaged in illegal activity. Nevertheless, anyone on the flight logs, like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Allen Dershowitz, and others is automatically assumed to have traveled to the island to have sex with minors.

4. Photographs exist of Donald Trump and others with Epstein. This, along with several problematic comments, leads to the assumption (again, with no evidence) that Trump was personally involved with Epstein's criminal activities.

5. Epstein's suicide while in federal custody was suspicious as he had been on suicide watch, then was removed from it, and cameras with a view of his cell were not working. A recent video purporting to show the door of his cell, with a suspicious one minute missing, is actually the entrance to his cell block that had 7 other cells in it.

6. The QAnon conspiracy involved claims that members of Congress and prominent celebrities were having sex with minors, and that Trump would expose this. When the "Q drops" ended around the time of Epstein's arrest in 2019, attention shifted to Epstein as it was assumed that he was central to the conspiracy. A substantial portion of Trump's base bought into this, and were eagerly awaiting the release of the "client list" followed by mass arrests of Congress members and celebrities ("the storm"). It didn't help that Attorney General Pam Bondi said she had the "Epstein file" on her desk in February.

So for Trump to say last week "nothing to see here, move along and stop talking about this" was a huge betrayal. The only thing comparable on the left would be if it was discovered that Bernie Sanders and AOC were being financed by Citibank, or Greta Thunberg was making millions from Big Oil. Whether this will be the thing that finally breaks the spell of the MAGA cult remains to be seen, but it's clear that Trump has backed himself into a corner. His base has been telling each other for the past few years that there is an "Epstein client list" and Trump was going to expose everyone on it. Trump benefitted from this conspiracy theory as it painted him in the most positive light possible. These people aren't going to take "there is no list" and just move on, as they have too much invested in it.

My prediction is that Trump will fire Dan Bongino and blame the whole thing on his incompetence. It won't be hard because Bongino is incompetent and completely unqualified to serve as deputy FBI director. Of course he will scream and yell, but the only reason anyone in the MAGA base likes him is because he's a Trump fluffer. Once Trump denounces him, it's over.

My personal opinion is that there never was an "Epstein client list." Yes, Epstein threw lavish parties, there were minors present, and some guests probably had sex with them. But Epstein didn't keep track of this or blackmail anyone, and the only people for whom evidence of criminal activity exists are Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein himself. The fact that someone is in his phone book or flight logs isn't evidence of criminal activity. It is, of course, possible that the DOJ has some evidence implicating other people, however, to maintain their 93% conviction rate, they only bring cases that are slam-dunks, and this may not be one of those.

Independent journalist Ryan Dawson spent years compiling it by trawling through court transcripts and charging documents. He added names to the list when Epstein’s young victims identified or named a particular person. You’ll recognise some very rich and powerful people, including Prince Andrew, Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Henry Kissinger, Larry Summers, Ehud Barak and Sergey Brin.

@SumKindaMunster Does he have evidence that any of these people engaged in illegal activity, or just that they were associated with Jeffrey Epstein? If he went through transcripts and court documents, I assume all of these are public records. Has he published the sources for this list? For example, the first name, Jes Staley, isn't someone I've ever heard of. What are the specific references for this name's inclusion?

I'm already suspicious when I see little Israeli flags next to some of the names. Jews, liberals, and billionaires. You've hit the MAGA trifecta. The fact that Trump's name is missing when he was a known associate is another red flag. No Republicans, how convenient.

Not a single person on this list has sued Dawson for libel or slander, which they surely would have if the information were false.

Here's him talking about how he compiled his list:

@LeopoldBloom My understanding is that Trump is not on the list. The common belief and everything I have seen confirms the following: He and Epstein were friends in the 90's. Trump ended the friendship and was not part of Epstein's island or plane flights to said island.

Nobody is a Republican on the list? I don't know them all, you say that with authority or just assuming because you didn't see anyone you recognized?
@SumKindaMunster As Dawson says in his video, there is no "list." I'm just questioning if he's biased. I'm curious why Trump isn't on his list since he has been named in some documents and other records. Why leave him off? And no, I don't know who everyone is, so maybe there are prominent conservatives on there. But "ryliberty," I'm sorry, that screams "conservative."

If he compiled his list from publicly available documents, no one can sue him for that. Has he made a definitive statement like "Everyone on this list is a pedophile?" Because that would be defamatory. He is also correct that people have been arrested and charged in connection with this; the idea that "Maxwell was convicted of trafficking kids to nobody" is just ignorant. It's also possible that there will be no other prosecutions because the evidence isn't strong enough.

It's hilarious to see none other than Matt Gaetz opining on Epstein. That's like John Dillinger complaining about bank robbers. And of course, deh jooz. Every conspiracy ends with deh jooz.

@LeopoldBloom I'm assuming Trump isn't on the list because he hasn't been charged or sued by the individuals who were victimized by Epstein. That's how the list was created.

Yes he is almost certainly a right wing commenter. It doesn't seem like he would protect Republicans, but I don't know definitively. He seemed on the up and up and his logic and reasoning were sound.

Yeah yeah "de jooz". And if you don't agree with those theories you are also part of "de jooz".
@SumKindaMunster According to Dawson, people on his list weren't sued or charged, they were mentioned. That most certainly includes Trump. And while there's no reason to assume Dawson is protecting Republicans, if none of them are on his list when they were mentioned in the sources he used, that suggests bias.

I'm commenting on Gaetz bringing up people in the pay of "another country." We all know which country he means, it's obviously Ireland or India or some other country starting with the letter "I." Ghislaine Maxwell's father was associated with Mossad, and being Jewish, it's assumed by certain people that Epstein was too. So the theory that Epstein's operation was a "Mossad honeypot" comes from that, even though there's no evidence for that either.

I don't know why Trump allowed Bondi to give her "move along, nothing to see here" statement after allowing the cult to fantasize for years about him being the knight in shining armor who was going to take down the "deep state." So as I'm sure you've noticed, they feel betrayed right now.

His standard was more than "mentioned", it was people who were specifically accused by some of the victims of Epstein's empire. The only specific accusation against Trump against this was a "Jane Doe" whose lawsuits and claims were widely dismissed as not credible. Probably why it wasn't mentioned.

And while there's no reason to assume Dawson is protecting Republicans, if none of them are on his list when they were mentioned in the sources he used, that suggests bias.

Yes bias. Like your super defensive attitude when Israel is mentioned? While I totally agree with you in regards to the lazy anti-Semitism revealed in some of these theories, it's not totally without merit that Epstein might have connections to Mossad and consequently, the Israeli government. There IS evidence, Epstein had a LOT of connections to high level people in Israel's government. Nothing conclusive though.

So as I'm sure you've noticed, they feel betrayed right now.

Yes, for certain. However the left only cares about this now because they smell blood in the water. For almost 10 years they blew off the insinuations around this story because a lot of left wing people were implicated. Now that Trump might be impacted by this, they can't stop falling all over themselves to get the info released. It's just a tad hypocritical. And MAGA noticed that too.
