@newjaninev2 Actually, I think Putin thought it would have the opposite effect and scare Finland and Sweden away from potentially joining NATO but it has backfired.

Turkey might block Finland's entry to NATO. Finland and Sweden joining NATO is not a done deal. It only takes one NATO member to block the entry of a new member.
