It’s something you make, not find.
Don’t look for things in life, okay? Nothing is put in this world to serve you. If for any reason you can’t appreciate things as they are, then just leave them as they are. Don’t interpret something as negative just because it’s not doing what you want. It’s embarrassing to see grown adults acting so childish as to think anything else should take care of them. No, part of maturing is understanding that’s your job now.
You might have missed the bigger point I’m trying to make here. Nothing is inherently negative. It’s you who sees it that way. Same goes for positive. You can guess which one takes better care of you.
One more thing. If looking for something in the world makes you negative, then how do you be positive? Simple. Look for something in yourself instead. Again. It’s up to you. Not your family, your friends, or even your lovers. Not your circumstances, job or wealth. You, and you alone decide what your experience teaches. Be thankful your happiness is solely your responsibility because this means you can always do something for it.
