Old people: did life get better for you with time?

@assemblingaknob no, I'm saying ask yourself how do I change what I don't like. I know being younger how difficult and overwhelming things can be, stay focused and accept that somethings you don't like simply have to be done.

Also, my mum seizes everything I earn to "protect" me. But it's just to control me.

@Poppies Even if I got to keep my money, it would go into rent and bills and I still would end up with nothing to spend on anything else. Not even enough budget for food.

@assemblingaknob well I am sorry to hear those things. I hope you have a path to greater independence someday. Skin and wrinkles are small potatoes compared to being free of being controlled.
