I Am Pro Choice

Her body, her choice.

I don’t know why that short quote is controversial to some people. I even read from somewhere on some forum that there is no such thing as my body, my choice when the issue of abortion was brought up. At the end of the day though, what we do to our body is our choice. Wether it’s getting that new tattoo, dying our hair, or a woman terminating a pregnancy for various reasons.

I think they want to say that there is no such thing, because they feel like they have control over women’s bodies, and feel like they can tell women what to do. But according to women’s health, it is her body, her choice. Even with all the paperwork, women read and sign, before having the procedure, she is signing her rights to choose. Even if she is delivering a baby, she is signing her rights to choose, that includes whether she wants to give birth naturally or use an epidural.

It is her body her choice, whether she wants to breastfeed or formula feed. It is her body her choice, if she wants to take medication. In fact, I always say that I am pro choice, not only when it involves abortion, but also when it comes to medication, getting a tattoo, breastfeeding, whatever. It is and always will be her body, her choice. People just need to accept that.

I can agree, but people bring up a valid point. The baby. They ask impossible what if questions; What if Life begins at conception? What if You will be judged for taking a human life? What if your own mother made that decision of choice, and you would not be here to ponder this great debate.

What if a tree falls in the middle of the forest and there's not a soul around,
Does it make a sound?

But I do believe in A woman's right to choice.

It's not your body. It's another body you're killing.

@SW-User Does the father have any say? Heard of Candace Owens?
SW-User
@Strictgram And yes they do. And even though it might be difficult on the couple, they agree that abortion is the right option. And what does Candace Owens have to do with this subject?
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@SW-User Nothing to do with this subject but I'm hoping you read her book. Take off the liberal blinders and be open minded when you read her words. She is a bright, articulate, young, black young woman and has "left the democrat plantation." Her book is $19. on Amazon or available in a public library. Even Van Jones and Konye West are saying good things about Trump. I'm no Trump apologist and he was my 17th choice for pres. but I am a realist and recognize good public policy.

Women have a right to privacy that protects a pregnant woman's right to choose whether or not to have an abortion.

I am too, the choice you make 10 minutes before conception. In all of this, does anyone consider the baby's rights and desires to live? My guess is they would vote to live if they could respond. I know I will get blasted by all the pro-choice people, but for me it is a moral issue with the baby at the center of my thoughts. Everyone is entitled to his or her own decision. Trashing someone for their option, you are not being respectful and demonstrate how closed minded people can be.

@R5000 Yep that is also someone’s choice.
