The thing is it doesn't originate with Carlson. If it did there would be room for doubting it.
But it comes from the prosecutor who first tried to go after Epstein in NY about 20 years ago. He was at the very least led to believe it was in his best interest to drop it because there were bigger things at stake here involving intelligence and yes including Mossad.

It seems likely. If it was just Carlson saying it, I'd say he's probably lying, but a lot of actual journalists and intelligence officials have said the same thing.

Any number of intelligence agencies would like his client list to enable them to exert leverage. Working for Mossad suggests he was an agent, not just a criminal informant.
