@SomeMichGuy No,because he didn't happen to talk about the border untill IT STARTED DIRECTLY AFFECTING HIS CITY is why I know he didn't care.And I'd like to think I'm doing COMMON SENSE proud.

@DavidT8899 Why *would* a guy running that city think he needs to address every (or any) issue *you* think is important?
He has to think about all sorts of things directly affecting NYC every day/week, and we have a *national* government to deal with things like borders...
His authority extends to a very localized part of NY...not next to any land border with another country.
I guess your "common sense" doesn't include a knowledge that "Mayor of NYC" is NOT the same as "Sec'y of Homeland Security", or "President of the US". I guess your slanted education didn't prepare you for this.
