SCOTUS Issues A Temporary Order Blocking Release Of Trump's Taxes to Congress. No word on when the full body of the court will convene to issue a permanent ruling.

The law is pretty clear that Congress has authority to review Trump's tax returns. This is a very disappointing decision and may be the Court's way of delaying a final decision until Congress turns Republican and drops the request in January. It is just more proof (not that more was needed) that SCOTUS is a hyper-partisan Republican body bent on making political rulings, not those based on the rule of law.
